Scriptus will be held at the prestigious Bram & Bluma Appel Salon, on the second floor of the Toronto Reference Library, at 789 Yonge St, Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Getting There

There are several options for getting to the Scriptus venue:

transit (ttc)
The Toronto Reference Library is very convenient to the ttc. It is located just north of the Yonge/Bloor station, at the hub of both the north/south and east/west subway lines. This station is Wheelchair accessible, as is the Library venue itself.

Note: scheduled ttc closures will affect line one, from St. Clair station to Lawrence station. Shuttle buses will be running.

car
There are two main arteries entering Toronto’s downtown area:

Gardiner Expressway:
  1. Transfer to Don Valley Parkway North
  2. Take the Bayview Avenue exit toward Bloor Street
  3. Merge onto Bloor – Bayview ramp
  4. Turn left at Castle Frank Road
  5. Turn right at Bloor Street East
  6. Turn right at Park Road
  7. Take first left onto Asquith Avenue
  8. Drive down to Yonge Street
Highway 401:
  1. Transfer to Don Valley Parkway South
  2. Take the Bayview Avenue exit toward Bloor Street
  3. Merge onto Bloor – Bayview ramp
  4. Turn left at Castle Frank Road
  5. Turn right at Bloor Street East
  6. Turn right at Park Road
  7. Take first left onto Asquith Avenue

Parking

Paid parking lots are on Cumberland Avenue, Yorkville and Asquith Avenue.On Sundays there is little competition for spots, and some have reduced rates.
