Call For Volunteers

It’s almost time for Scriptus, and the team is working away behind the scenes to make everything run as well as possible. We’re in our third year already and we’re excited for a great show this year!

As always, we are in need of volunteers to help out with the show. Could you lend a hand? If you have a few hours to lend a hand some time during the day, we’d really appreciate it! Do you know a high school student looking to pad out their compulsory volunteer time? What better way could there be than playing with pens all day?!

This year volunteers are needed to:

  • provide information for the curious, and guidance for the confused
  • help sell tickets for our biggest raffle yet
  • attend our merchandise table, handling our signature ink and other Scriptus swag

To make us more visible to attendees and vendors, special (and highly attractive) Scriptus t-shirts will be provided to all volunteers. Also, nutritious and delicious snacks will be provided for you.

How to volunteer? Just head over to the volunteering page, fill out the form there, and our enthusiastic volunteer co-ordinator Lisa will contact you.

We look forward to seeing you at the show (hopefully all day long?)!

2016 Scriptus Ink: Northern Twilight

As if we weren’t excited enough about Scriptus, there is more good news! After the roaring success of last year’s Maple Red, we are happy to announce another limited-edition Scriptus ink, available only at Scriptus 2016, on October 30: Northern Twilight.

This ink is a stunning, yet subtle, blue-black, with a strong teal component and a hint of burgundy. Although the issue is limited to 244 bottles, each is a generous 60 mL, and priced at a very reasonable $16. We are limiting the purchase size to two bottles per person, to give as many people as possible a share in the inky goodness.

We are looking forward to the show, which will be bigger and better than ever! See you on October 30.

Promotional Material Now Available

We are happy to announce that banners for online promotion of this year’s show are now available.

A full set of banners for free use can be found on our website, at: We have included the banners themselves (simply <right-click> and <save as…> ), as well as code snippets to save you some behind-the-scenes work.

So feel free to distribute these widely, because sharing is half the fun!

Print materials are coming soon, so stay tuned…
