With only five weeks until Scriptus 2014, we have lots of good developments to report:
-we have nearly 40 exhibitors booked, from across North America, including our seven main sponsors. We also have a few “value-added” tables, which we will announce over the coming weeks.
-we have a great diversity among exhibitors, but it’s all about writing: pens and pencils, both vintage & new; art papers and calligraphy supplies; inks in every conceivable colour and kind; fine stationery; writing-related ephemera & equipment.
-representatives of major manufacturers, eager to show off their latest products and hear your input as to what makes a great pen.
-Sean Gosse, formerly of PenRx has been confirmed to do on-site repairs and nib work. It has been four years since you could simply walk your pen into someplace and walk out with it just the way you like, so take advantage of this chance!
On the invisible side of things, we are working hard to ensure that the day goes without a hitch. This includes working closely with the venue coordinators, exhibitors, and show volunteers to make sure that you have a great time. We are in the process of assigning table locations, and working up the details of a final publicity campaign. Keep an eye on our Twitter feed and Facebook wall for all the latest news and announcements.
Stay tuned, and we look forward to seeing you on November 2!
No pen show would be complete without offering on-site repairs, and Scriptus is no exception.
We are happy to announce that Sean Gosse, formerly of PenRX, has agreed to be available for on-site repairs and nib work at Scriptus. Many will remember his ink-stained fingers at the Toronto International Pen Show, in previous years.
So dust off your pen box, dig out that not-quite-right nib, and bring them in with you. Just five weeks to go!

Walk in to your favourite pen shop, and you may notice something new on the wall: the Scriptus 2014 promotional poster. Designed to be simple, yet informative, the poster and matching handbills are guaranteed to catch the interest of passers-by.
We have sent supplies of posters and handbills to carefully selected locations throughout the show’s target area, and are happy to also release electronic versions, available for download here on our website. The poster can be printed on a sheet of 8.5″ x 11″ paper (for best effect, be sure to trim it to it’s 6″ width). The handbills fit three-to-a-sheet.
If you would like printed display materials for your shopor to give to your friendsbe sure to let us know as soon as possible; the show is only seven weeks away!
